Our Journey to Build Better

Build Better didn’t happen overnight.

It is the result of more than a decade of evolution, insight, and industry connection.

Our events journey began in 2009, when we first started bringing together architects, developers, and construction professionals through our Equinox events. What began as focused, relationship-driven industry gatherings steadily grew in scale, ambition, and impact.

In 2021, we evolved into Archify under the parent company BCI Central — expanding our regional footprint and strengthening our connection to the built environment across Asia Pacific. Our events became known for their boutique format, high-quality audience, and meaningful business conversations.

Today, we enter our next chapter.

With the global transition from BCI Central to Hubexo, we are now part of a unified international brand connecting the construction industry across 25 countries and five regions: Asia Pacific, North East Europe, North America, United Kingdom & Ireland, West Europe

2009

Equinox Events launch in Australia

The journey begins with the launch of Equinox Events in Australia — a boutique event designed to bring together architects, designers, and product suppliers in a highly curated environment. Focused on meaningful conversations rather than large-scale trade exhibitions, Equinox established a strong foundation for intimate, relationship-driven architectural showcases that prioritised quality engagement and industry connection.

2011

Expansion Across New Zealand

Building on early success in Australia, Equinox expanded into New Zealand, launching in Auckland as a boutique evening event tailored to the local architecture and design community. The format remained intentionally personal and high-impact, creating a space where architects, designers, and leading product suppliers could connect directly, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions in a relaxed networking environment.

2016

Equinox Events launch in Asia

Equinox entered a new phase of growth as BCI expanded the event concept across Asia. Events launched across key markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Vietnam — introducing a consistent, product-focused networking format to a rapidly growing construction and design audience. This expansion strengthened regional collaboration and positioned Equinox as a recognised platform for connecting global suppliers with local design and construction professionals throughout Asia-Pacific.

2021

Rebrand to Archify Live

As digital platforms and industry engagement evolved, Equinox transitioned into Archify Live in Australia and New Zealand. The rebrand aligned the event series with the Archify ecosystem, creating stronger synergy between online product discovery and face-to-face engagement. The format expanded across multiple cities, broadening reach while maintaining the boutique event experience that had become its signature. Archify Live marked a new era — blending digital influence with in-person connection to better support the evolving needs of the industry.

2026

Build Better

The next evolution arrives with Build Better, launched under the unified global Hubexo brand. More than a rebrand, Build Better represents a strategic transformation of the event experience — designed to support the future of construction through innovation, collaboration, and purposeful connection.
